As Inteliquet’s VP of Cancer Center Support Services, Jeanie leads us in delivering increasing value to our Cancer Center Consortium members through enriching Cancer Center Consortium engagement activities, working with sites to design and drive enhanced functionality, and establishing Best Practices for Clinical Operations to facilitate access to cutting-edge treatment options through clinical trials for oncology patients and their physician investigators.
Prior to joining Inteliquet, Jeanie served as Vice President of Research Strategy at Temple University Healthcare System: Fox Chase Comprehensive Cancer Center. Providing leadership and oversight over all aspects of research operations and business administration, she contributed to the development of programs and processes that reflected commitment to the cancer center support grant, which maintained Fox Chase its status as an NCI-designated institution. Jeanie also fostered collaborations across the Clinical Research enterprise, inclusive of Basic and Translational Science, Ancillary and Oncology clinical service lines to assure the highest level of Scientific Investigation while maximizing the utilization of Data Informatics and Systems support to drive emerging programs offering cutting edge options. In addition, she designed and launched a Dedicated Clinical Research Business unit with nearly a 40% increase of annual revenue. She also supplemented and facilitated the design, build, and launch of an academic world-class coronavirus/COVID-19 clinical research program in the underserved and underrepresented North Philadelphia community.
Before her move to Philadelphia, Jeanie was also Director of Clinical Research at NYU Langone Medical Center, where she performed annual portfolio assessments to initiate conversations around long-term growth and moved the operating budget from a negative to a positive cash flow in a nine-month period, achieving the first ever FY Operating Margin for long-standing Administrative Program. By instituting Revenue Cycle Operations and Charge Capture reimbursement payment systems, Jeanie increased the cash stream by 100%. She also served as a lecturer faculty in the NYU College of Dentistry Research Master’s Program and was widely involved in team building and the coordination effort for a multi-site academic medical center consisting of a university-based school of medicine, 5 hospital centers, faculty group practices, and physician faculty practice organizations.
As Management Consultant and Director of Operations at AstraZeneca Subsidiary: Aptium East NY, Jeanie revamped the research compliance framework for the Outpatient Clinical Cancer Center, which involved multiple divisions, including Medical, Surgical, Radiation, Radiology and Psychiatry, breaking down silos and supporting an Outcome-based care delivery. Operating within a global health network comprised of a variety of business models and network partners, Jeanie successfully navigated international and local policy, law, and regulation. She additionally held oversight for and supported multi-disciplinary Human Resource division, which encompassed Nursing, Regulatory, Data, Systems, Reporting, Administrative, Operations and Fiduciary disciplines.
Jeanie continues to cultivate a rich history of serving as an Independent BioPharmaceutical and Clinical Research Organizations Consultant, specializing in healthcare and clinical research systems design, strategy, product launch, business development, and medical science liaison. A well-known and deeply respected Thought and Key Opinion Leader, Jeanie generously contributes multiple presentations, publications, and initiatives as a Clinical Research Solutions expert. She also presents and lectures at accredited oncology nursing programs, multi-disciplinary educational meetings, and client-sponsored events.
Jeanie earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of the State of New York, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude with the distinction of Salutatorian, from St. Joseph’s College, where she was also a member of Kappa Gamma Pi. She additionally holds a C.W. Post, MBA with Cum Laude honors, from Long Island University, where she was also a member of the National Business Honor Society and Delta Mu Delta. Jeanie also holds a Coaching Certificate from New York University and a Lean Six-Sigma Greenbelt.
Jeanie is also passionate about volunteerism and travel. From occasionally serving as a Special Event Coordinator for the Long Island Association for AIDS Care to crusading Footprint-focused and sustainable journeys, Jeanie’s unfailing personal and professional dedication to making the world a better place is an inspiration.
